Licence and register

BOYLE Sports is operated for customers in Ireland by Boylesports (Gibraltar) Limited, which holds a remote betting licence from the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland: GRAI-0852-RB-26-0001, issued on 1 July 2026 and due to expire on 30 June 2029. Trading names listed on the register: BOYLE Sports. You can look it up on the GRAI public register; we last checked it on 4 October 2026.

On the site we link to, BOYLE Sports states: “Boylesports (Gibraltar) Limited is additionally licensed and regulated by the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland for the provision of betting products and services to customers in the Republic of Ireland under licence number: GRAI-0852-RB-26-0001” (site footer, read from an Irish IP address on 3 October 2026)

Irish terms: Terms and conditions effective from 1 July 2026 (no version number) (read them on BOYLE Sports’s site).

This file covers sports betting only.

Licence & register

8 out of 10. Boylesports (Gibraltar) Limited is on the GRAI register as a Remote Betting licensee with BOYLE Sports as its trading name. The footer of the page we link to states the GRAI licence for customers in the Republic of Ireland, and clause 3.3 of the terms says the same; the terms are dated “effective from 1 July 2026”. Two points come off. Half a point because the terms have a start date but no version number, and half a point because the same footer block still shows “Licence Number 1010144” for “Ireland & all other accepted jurisdictions”. It looks like the licence number from the Revenue era, but we could not confirm what it refers to. A further point comes off for a dated sanction: on 29 July 2026 the UK Advertising Standards Authority ruled against a BOYLE Sports advertisement that used the wording “18+ UK/IRE online”.

Safer-betting tools

9 out of 10. Clause 7 of the terms sets out the whole range: account closure, self-exclusion from six months to five years, a time out of 24 hours, a week, a month or up to six weeks, money limits and session duration reminders. The help centre, updated on 25 September 2026, adds a net deposit limit alongside the ordinary deposit limit, which caps what you pay in minus what you take out. Every period is published. The one point we hold back is for the waiting time before a higher limit takes effect: the help articles explain how to set, reset and reduce a limit, but we could not confirm how long an increase takes.

Payments & withdrawal terms

9.5 out of 10. The money rules are published in unusual detail. A help article updated on 2 October 2026 lists every deposit route; another gives a minimum deposit of €5 and a maximum of €10,000, subject to the provider; the terms (10.1.5–10.1.6) rule out credit cards; and BOYLE Sports states that it charges no fees. Withdrawals are described step by step, with stated aims: processing within 6 hours, the bank within 2–5 working days, and anything above €50,000 in a day handled by customer services. Half a point comes off because we found no stated minimum withdrawal.

Market coverage

8.5 out of 10. The site menu, read from Ireland on 3 October 2026, opens with Racing and Dogs and continues through Football, Gaelic Games, Golf, Darts, Rugby, Tennis, Cricket, Snooker, Basketball, NFL and Australian Rules, with a Sports A–Z beyond that and separate In Play and Cash Out entries. Racing, rugby and the breadth of the list are confirmed in full. Gaelic Games appear as one heading, so football and hurling are not confirmed separately, and the League of Ireland was not named on the pages we could read.

Pricing

Not scored yet. The atlas has not yet taken its dated pricing sample, so no operator carries a Pricing score. The 10% weight is redistributed across the five criteria above, and BOYLE Sports’ 8.8 is the weighted result of those five.

Support & complaints

10 out of 10. Everything our method asks for is in writing. Live chat and phone support run 24 hours a day, with a freephone number for the Republic of Ireland and a web form; BOYLE Sports says email replies come within 12 hours. Clause 28 of the terms lays out the complaint route with timings: an acknowledgement within 24 hours, a manager’s reply within 48 hours, and the option to go to IBAS after eight weeks without a final answer or if you disagree with it. The same clause tells customers in Ireland that they may also complain to the GRAI.

How scores are built: Methodology. Commission never changes a score.

The company behind the brand

The licence holder is Boylesports (Gibraltar) Limited. The GRAI register lists one trading name for it, BOYLE Sports, written that way since the brand changed its spelling on 30 June 2025. The licence was issued on 1 July 2026, the day GRAI remote betting licences took effect, and runs to 30 June 2029.

The company is registered in Gibraltar and also holds Gibraltar remote gambling licences, RGL 083 and 084, which the footer lists in the same block as the GRAI number. Its terms are governed by Gibraltar law (clause 29.1); clause 3.5 adds that Irish regulation applies to products and services provided to customers in the Republic of Ireland. Customer services, as named in the terms, give a postal address in Dundalk and an Irish number beginning +353 42.

We could not confirm a parent company or group from the documents we read, so this file names none. On the UK side, the Gambling Commission’s public register entry for account 39469 showed no regulatory action when we checked. BoylePoker uses a separate set of licences and is not part of this file, which covers sports betting only. How brands, licence holders and groups fit together is set out in Who owns which bookmaker.

Market coverage

BOYLE Sports has no separate .ie sportsbook. The address we link to, boylesports.com/sports, opened from an Irish IP address on 3 October 2026 and moved straight to the football page. Prices were shown as fractions, and amounts in both euro and sterling.

Sports in the menu on that day included:

  • Racing (horses) and Dogs (greyhounds)
  • Football
  • Gaelic Games
  • Rugby
  • Golf, Tennis, Darts and Snooker
  • Cricket, Basketball, NFL and Australian Rules
  • A Sports A–Z with further sports

In Play and Cash Out have their own menu entries. The help centre also has sections on racing (including Tote bets) and on Bet Builder. Whether BOYLE Sports streams any events online we could not confirm: the help centre returned no sports articles on live streaming. As at every bookmaker, cash out is an offer the bookmaker can change or withdraw, not a right.

The atlas lists markets; it does not publish prices, tips or previews of real fixtures.

Pricing

BOYLE Sports’ margin has not been measured yet. The atlas will sample the same markets at every bookmaker in it at one moment — a horse race, a Gaelic match and a football match, for instance — and report the overround found on each, with the date and time. The sample is the same for everyone, which is why no single operator is measured before it is taken.

One feature of this site matters for that comparison: prices appear as fractions. Converting a fraction such as 5/2 to an implied probability is shown in Bookmaker margins, with an imaginary market as the example.

Support and complaints

Support: Live chat around the clock, a web form, email, and Irish freephone 1800 22 00 66 (UK 0800 22 00 66).

Complaints: Customer services acknowledge within 24 hours, a manager replies within 48 hours; after 8 weeks without a final answer, or if you disagree, IBAS; customers in Ireland may also complain to the GRAI (terms clause 28).

Ways to reach BOYLE Sports, as listed on its contact page and in the terms:

  • Live chat, 24 hours a day
  • Phone, 24 hours a day: 1800 22 00 66 (Republic of Ireland, freephone), 0800 22 00 66 (UK), +353 42 604 1800 (international)
  • Web form and email, with a stated reply within 12 hours

The complaint route in clause 28 of the terms:

  1. Contact customer services. BOYLE Sports aims to acknowledge within 24 hours.
  2. If that does not settle it, ask for a manager; the stated reply time is 48 hours.
  3. After eight weeks without a final response, or if you disagree with it, you can take the dispute to IBAS, a UK-based betting dispute service.
  4. Customers in Ireland may also complain to the GRAI under its own procedure (clause 28.6). The GRAI complaints page deals with breaches of licence obligations already in force; it does not decide whether a bet was settled correctly.

Write down dates, the bet or transaction reference and the names of the people you spoke to. Complaints about a bookmaker explains each route in more detail.

Before you join

Points to check before opening an account, from BOYLE Sports’ own pages as of 4 October 2026:

  • Use the right address. Look-alike domains such as booylesports.com, boylesports.casino, boylesports.org.uk and boylesports-ie.net are not BOYLE Sports sites. The licence wording sits in the footer of boylesports.com.
  • Identity first. Under clause 8.1.2, an account for a customer in Ireland opens only after identity and age are checked. Have photo ID ready; a selfie, a bank statement or a copy of the card may be requested later.
  • An older licence number in the footer. Next to the GRAI number, the footer still shows 1010144. Rely on the GRAI number, which matches the register.
  • Gibraltar law. The terms are governed by the law of Gibraltar, with Irish regulation applying to customers in Ireland.
  • Withdrawals follow deposits. A withdrawal can be split back across the methods you used to pay in.
  • Euro or sterling. The site shows both currencies; check which one your account uses.

Most bets lose, and every stake is money spent. Set a deposit limit, or a net deposit limit, before your first deposit. If you are worried about your betting, the GamblingCare National Helpline takes calls free of charge, day and night, on 1800 936 725; the HSE Drugs and Alcohol Helpline answers on weekdays on 1800 459 459.
