Kwiff operator file: GRAI licence, company and safeguards

Updated 4 October 2026GRAI register checked 4 October 2026For readers in Ireland, 18+

Kwiff is run for players in Ireland by Kwiff Limited, a Maltese company that received GRAI-1125-RB-26-0001 on 10 September 2026, more than two months after GRAI remote betting licences began. This file sets out what is confirmed about that licence and Kwiff’s safeguards, and where its Irish terms have not caught up.

Licence and register

Kwiff is operated for customers in Ireland by Kwiff Limited, which holds a remote betting licence from the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland: GRAI-1125-RB-26-0001, issued on 10 September 2026 and due to expire on 9 September 2029. Trading names listed on the register: Kwiff. You can look it up on the GRAI public register; we last checked it on 4 October 2026.

On the site we link to, Kwiff states: “Kwiff Limited is licensed and regulated by the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland under licence number GRAI-1125-RB-26-0001” (site footer, read from an Irish IP address on 3 October 2026)

Irish terms: Last updated 30/06/2026, version IE1.0; clause 2.2 still refers to the Irish Revenue licence (read them on Kwiff’s site).

This file covers sports betting only.

Licence & register

7.5 out of 10. The register and the site agree: Kwiff Limited is a GRAI Remote Betting licensee, and the footer of the page we link to gives the same number. The deductions come from the paperwork around it. The Irish terms, version IE1.0, were last updated on 30 June 2026, the day before GRAI licences began, and clause 2.2 still says Kwiff holds the Irish Revenue licence 1015903 until the GRAI issues formal licences. Revenue remote bookmaker licences expired on 30 June 2026, and our method deducts two points for terms that still rely on them. Half a point more comes off because a “Fully licensed” link on the sports page opens a UK Gambling Commission entry rather than the GRAI register. We found no sanction against Kwiff Limited for 2025–2026.

Safer-betting tools

8 out of 10. Kwiff publishes deposit limits for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days, with any increase applied after 24 hours; a time-out of between 24 hours and six weeks; and self-exclusion for between six months and five years. Every period is stated, and the footer points to GamblingCare and its number. Two points come off, as our method sets, because we could not find a reality check — the reminder of how long you have been logged in. The safer gambling page sits on Kwiff’s corporate site and is not written specifically for Ireland, which we note but do not deduct.

Payments & withdrawal terms

9 out of 10. The Irish help centre lists four ways to pay in euro — debit cards (Visa Direct and Mastercard Send), Google Pay, Pay by Bank over SEPA and paysafecard for deposits only — with a minimum of €10 for both deposits and withdrawals, and no credit cards. The terms (12.1–12.4) allow withdrawals only from a verified balance and only to the method used to deposit. Timings are stated in stages: most withdrawals complete within 30 minutes, extra checks are aimed at 24 hours, and SEPA transfers without instant payment take 1–2 working days. One point comes off because we found no statement on fees.

Market coverage

8.5 out of 10. Kwiff’s menu names GAA Football and GAA Hurling as separate tabs, so Gaelic games score in full. Horses and Greyhounds, Rugby and a long list down to table tennis and virtual sports complete the picture. In-play is confirmed, and Kwiff’s own “Flex” feature for accumulators is linked from the site. Half a point comes off for a standard cash out we could not confirm, and a further point because the League of Ireland is not named on the pages we could read.

Pricing

Not scored yet. The atlas will score Pricing from the overround on a dated, shared sample of identical markets. No sample has been taken, so the criterion is empty for every operator and its 10% weight passes to the other five. Kwiff’s 7.9 is calculated on those five.

Support & complaints

6 out of 10. Live chat with the Customer Experience Team and email are both confirmed, and clause 25.1 sets a target: Kwiff aims to resolve a complaint within eight weeks of receiving all the information it needs, under a published complaints procedure. Points come off because the support hours are not published, there is no Irish phone number, and the terms name no alternative dispute resolution body to turn to if the final answer does not settle the matter.

How scores are built: Methodology. Commission never changes a score.

The company behind the brand

The licence holder is Kwiff Limited, registered in Malta (company number C77623), with the address given in the footer: Level 2, Domestica Building, Msida. The GRAI register lists one trading name, Kwiff. Clause 2.1 of the Irish terms confirms that for players in Ireland the services are operated by Kwiff Limited.

Two other names appear on Kwiff’s pages. The copyright line in the footer names Spryme Limited, and the “Fully licensed” link leads to the UK Gambling Commission entry for Eaton Gate Gaming (account 44448), which serves UK customers. We could not confirm from public documents how these companies relate to Kwiff Limited, so this file names no parent group. For Ireland, the only licence that counts is the GRAI one held by Kwiff Limited.

The licence date matters for reading the terms. GRAI remote betting licences began on 1 July 2026, and Revenue remote bookmaker licences ran out on 30 June 2026. Kwiff Limited’s GRAI licence is dated 10 September 2026, and its Irish terms were last revised on 30 June 2026, before either change reached them. The register does not explain the gap, and we do not speculate about it. What it means for a reader is simple: check the licence on the register and in the footer, not in clause 2.2.

Safer-betting tools

Tools listed by Kwiff:

  • Deposit limits for 24 hours, 7 or 30 days (an increase applies after 24 hours)
  • Time-out: 24 hours up to 6 weeks
  • Self-exclusion: 6 months up to 5 years

Set a limit before your first deposit. If betting stops being fun, the GamblingCare National Helpline is free and open 24/7 on 1800 936 725. Source: Kwiff safer gambling pages, checked 4 October 2026.

Payments and withdrawal terms

Payment methods listed by Kwiff for customers in Ireland (euro):

  • Debit cards (Visa Direct, Mastercard Send)
  • Google Pay
  • Pay by Bank (SEPA)
  • paysafecard (deposits only)

Since 1 July 2026, GRAI licensees may not accept credit cards or offer credit, so debit cards are the card option.

How a withdrawal works at Kwiff

  1. Verify. Only a verified balance can be withdrawn, after verification checks (terms 12.1–12.4).
  2. Request. Withdraw to the method you deposited with; minimum €10.
  3. Review. As stated by Kwiff, most withdrawals complete within 30 minutes; with extra checks the target is up to 24 hours.
  4. Payment. SEPA transfers without instant payment take 1–2 working days, as stated.

Market coverage

The address we link to, kwiff.com/ie, sent an Irish visitor to kwiff.com/sports/featured/ on 3 October 2026, with amounts in euro and the GRAI licence in the footer. There is no separate Irish domain: kwiff.ie forwards to kwiff.com, and the Irish version is served by location.

Sports tabs on that day:

  • Horses and Greyhounds
  • GAA Football and GAA Hurling
  • Football
  • Rugby
  • Tennis, Golf, Darts, Snooker and Cricket
  • Boxing, MMA and F1
  • Basketball, Baseball, Ice Hockey, American Football and Aussie Rules
  • Volleyball, Table Tennis, E-Leagues and Virtuals

An IN-PLAY tab is in the main menu. “Flex” bets, which let you shorten an accumulator before it is settled, are linked from the site. We could not confirm a standard cash out or any live streaming: Kwiff’s help centre returned no articles on either when we searched.

The atlas lists sports and features only. We do not publish prices, tips or previews of real events.

Pricing

Kwiff’s margin has not been measured. When the atlas samples prices, Kwiff will be checked on the same markets and at the same moment as the other operators — with a Gaelic games market included, since Kwiff lists both codes — and the overround will be published with the date and time of the sample.

Features such as Flex change what a bet can do, not the price at which it is struck, so they play no part in the Pricing score. The calculation, shown on an imaginary market, is in Bookmaker margins.

Support and complaints

Support: Live chat with the Customer Experience Team, and email (hours not published).

Complaints: Through customer support under Kwiff’s complaints procedure; Kwiff aims to resolve a complaint within 8 weeks of receiving all the information (terms 25.1); no ADR body named in the terms.

Kwiff’s complaints procedure starts with customer support, through live chat or email. Clause 25.1 of the terms says Kwiff will endeavour to resolve a complaint within eight weeks of receiving all the information. Write down the date you sent everything, since the eight weeks run from then.

The terms do not name an alternative dispute resolution body, so there is no stated next step inside Kwiff’s own process once its answer is final. The GRAI can be told if you believe Kwiff Limited has broken a licence obligation already in force, through its complaints page; it does not decide individual disputes about a bet. Complaints about a bookmaker lists the other routes open to customers in Ireland.

A withdrawal that is still marked Pending can be cancelled from Profile, My Wallet, Withdrawal, Recent Withdrawals, as described in the help centre; once processed, it cannot.

Regulatory record

We found no published GRAI enforcement action against Kwiff Limited as of 4 October 2026.

Before you join

Points to check before you open an account, from Kwiff’s own pages as of 4 October 2026:

  • Clause 2.2 is out of date. The Irish terms (v.IE1.0) still describe the Revenue licence 1015903. The GRAI licence, GRAI-1125-RB-26-0001, is in the footer and on the register; rely on those.
  • The “Fully licensed” link is British. It opens a UK Gambling Commission entry for a different company. It is not your Irish licence.
  • €10 minimums. Deposits and withdrawals start at €10, as listed on the Irish payments page; paysafecard can be used to pay in but not to withdraw.
  • Only a verified balance can be withdrawn. Complete the verification checks early; the withdrawals article explains the stages.
  • No reality check found. Set a time-out or a deposit limit instead if you want a hard stop.

Each bet costs money; most of them lose. Set a deposit limit before you start; an increase only applies after 24 hours. If betting is becoming a problem, the GamblingCare National Helpline takes calls free of charge, day and night, on 1800 936 725, and the HSE Drugs and Alcohol Helpline answers on weekdays on 1800 459 459.
